Offer terms
1. All door and doorset constructions include for substrates/facings/cores/frame material to the discretion of Leaderflush Shapland, to suit the performance of the supplied assembly.
2. All veneered doors will be supplied with veneer over lippings [VOL] design, to our standard detail, unless specifically requested otherwise.
3. All internal door meeting stiles will be square edged to our standard detail.
4. We cannot guarantee veneered or laminate faced doors in external situations.
5. Doors left clean must be primed/sealed within three days of delivery to avoid the ingress of moisture.
6. External doors are bonded using a waterproof adhesive. This alone does not prevent deterioration and the doors must be primed/sealed immediately after fixing, including ALL edges.
7. Where site mortising of laminate or PVC faced doors or doorsets is to be carried out, all recesses must have radiused corners to prevent stress cracking associated with square cornered mortises.
8. Where we factory mortise only for ironmongery, we will do so to an agreed sample only, and cannot guarantee that slight adjustments may be required during site installation. Lock strike plates and flush keeps are machined and fitted on site by others. All mortices will be ex-machine for others to 'square out' corners on site if applicable. (Please note however that on no account must ironmongery that has square fore-ends be used on our Plasform Range of doorsets. They must always be radiused to prevent stress cracking). Where we are morticing only within fire rated doors, please note that intumescent material (by others) MUST be incorporated in accordance with the Certifire data sheet attached to the door.
9. Where supplying frames, we do not include for fixings, packers or sub-frames.
10. Our maximum one-piece timber section is 144mm[f]. Larger sections will be supplied complete with make-up pieces to suit overall specified sizes.
11. We do not offer preservative treatments to doors or frames.
12. We do not offer door edge decoration to door leaves only.
13. Hardwood colour and texture variation can be expected in most species of timber this will be enhanced by a clear finish.
14. All quotations offered and orders accepted are subject to our Terms and Conditions.
15. Additional Deliveries to those identified within our quotation will be charged at £250 each.
